William Colby Rose

ELON– William Colby Rose, age 28, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his home.

He was born on August 27, 1990 in Guilford County to Cheryl Lynn Paschal Rose and Ricky Alan Rose who both survive.  He was employed with Sterling-Euliss Enterprises and attended Lamb’s Chapel.  Colby was an avid bodybuilder and was named Mr. Triad in 2017.  He loved spending his time with his daughter, Ava Grace and lifting weights in the gym.

Colby is survived by his daughter, Ava Grace Rose; the mother of his child, Cayla Batts; his mother, Cheryl Paschal Rose and husband, Forrest Carden; his father, Ricky Alan Rose and wife, Holly; brothers, Ricky Rose, Jr. and wife Taylor, Holden Rose and wife Jesi and Cameron Rose; step brother, Brandon Murray and wife Meredith; step sister, Katie Murray; maternal grandmother, Beverly Lillard Paschal and paternal grandparents, Bob and Ann Parrish Rose.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Paschal.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bob Disher with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:45 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the fathers’ home in Elon.
