William Webster, Jr.

Mr. William Lee "Bill" Webster, Jr., age 77, of Liberty, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late William Lee Webster, Sr. and the late Bessie Pearl Buck Webster and was married for over 58 years to Mrs. Victoria Henderson "Vicki" Webster, who survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was of the Baptist faith. Bill retired from Cortina Fabrics, Inc. after many years of service, but was later employed with LabCorp and Kernodle Clinic. He was a member of the Antique Automoble Club of America and enjoyed showing his 1965 Ford Galaxy. He loved bowling and playing golf.
Mr. Webster is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, René Cain and Connie Staley and her husband, Whitney; a son, William Lee Webster III and his wife, Beverly; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, James Webster.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Grove Park Baptist Church by Rev. Bryan Rainbow and Frank Webster. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Wednesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
