William Shoffner, Jr.

William Franklin Shoffner, Jr. age 91, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Hospice Home. He was a native of Alamance County and the husband of 72 years to Lucy Euliss Shoffner who survives.

William was the owner and operator of Alamance Insulating for over 40 years. He was a member of Faith Christian Church. William enjoyed working with dogs conducting Field Trials in his youth. He took pride in providing for his family and he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Euliss Shoffner; daughter, Wesla Frankie Shoffner of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Chase Walker Shoffner of Burlington and Mia Gabrielle Shoffner of Whitsett. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Franklin Shoffner, Sr. and Thelma Dorthelia Smith Shoffner.

A private graveside service will be held for the family at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Reid Dickens. Mr. Shoffner will be available for public viewing from 1:00–5:00 PM Tuesday afternoon at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
