William Thomas Raupp

     William Thomas Raupp, age 71, of Whitsett, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Duke University Medical Center after several months of failing health.

     Born in Berkley Heights, NJ, he was the son of the late William T. Raupp and the late Elizabeth Brizak Raupp and was married for over 51 years to Mrs. JoAnn Thomas Raupp, who survives.  William was a U.S Army veteran that served during the Vietnam era and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service with over 38 years of service and was a lifetime New York Yankees fan.

     Mr. Raupp is survived by his wife of the home; three children, William Thomas Raupp, Jr., Brian Eugene Raupp and Megan Joanna Raupp; along with a host of family and friends.

     A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. John Shields.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
