William Albert "Bill" Fogleman, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 4, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born in Alamance County to the late Dover Leon Fogleman and Vallie Eubanks Fogleman and was the husband of 57 years to Dolores Hayes Fogleman who survives. Bill retired from Lucent Technology and was a paratrooper in the US Army. He enjoyed spending time at the beach, playing tennis in the Tom Sawyer and the Burlington City Tournaments and was an avid NASCAR fan and Carolina Tar Heel fan. Survivors other than his wife Dolores of the home include his son, Mark Fogleman and his wife Nanette; daughter, Lisa F. Sutton and husband, Chris all of Burlington; grandchildren, Matthew Sutton, Katherine Sutton, Alexander Fogleman, Landon Fogleman and Kaitlyn Fogleman; sisters, Jean Scott Jack Walker and Peggy F. Skinner. A Celebration Service to celebrate Bill's life will be held 11:00AM Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service with a reception and other times at the home. The Fogleman family would like to thank the staff at ARMC, Hospice, their friends and neighbors, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Earnest and Phyllis Warren for all their care and kindness that was shown to Bill during his illness.
