WIlliam Evans

Mr. William Foy Evans, age 93, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018.
Born in Lee County, GA, he was the son of the late Marion Allen Evans and the late Sadie Irene Jones Evans and was married for 66 years to the late Geneva Celesta Massey Evans, who passed in 2014. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and served during WWII. Foy retired from Western Electric after 27 years of service and was a member of First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church of Burlington.
Mr. Evans is survived by his children, Rev. Norman Evans and his wife, Linda, of New Bern, NC, Vannessa E. Brammer of Burlington, Justine E. Robare of Elon and Melissa Evans of Haw River; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church by Rev. Bryan Crotts and Rev. Tim Robinson. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
