William Durham, Sr.

William "Bill" Edward Durham, Sr., 76, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born in Alamance County to the late Edward Harold Durham and Mary Florine Moser Durham and was the husband to Barbara Ann Braswell Durham who survives. They had just celebrated 57 years of marriage on March 23rd. Bill retired as a Postmaster with the US Postal Service after 32 years of service. He was a US Army Veteran and enjoyed woodworking. Survivors other than his wife, Barbara, include his son, William Durham, Jr. and daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Greg Lee; grandsons, Tyler Lee, Hagen Lee and wife, Sara, Dillon Lee and Addison Lee; sister, Kaye Durham and her significant other, Rich. The celebration of life service will be held 3:00pm Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastors Alan and Becky Greenstreet. The family will receive friends following the service.
