William Cole II

William Sherrill Cole II, 48, of Snow Camp passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Duke University Medical Center. He was born in Moore County and was the son of the late William S. Cole and Margaret Poe Cole who survives. William was the owner and operator of Cole's Striping. He is survived by his son, William Phillip Cole of the home; mother, Margaret Poe Cole of Elon; stepdaughter, Trena Jones of Burlington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna Cole Cook and her husband Don of Mebane, Mary Ann Re of Elon, Norma Jean Fillingame and her husband Bobby of Vanceboro and Jane Cole Stancill and her husband Danny of Ayden; brother, Dwight D. Cole of Elon; two nieces and five nephews. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Worth Watts. The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday at the funeral home and at other times at his mother's home, 1804 Chandler St., Elon. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Ellerbe.
