William Cole

William Phillip Cole, 18, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Durham County and was the son of the late William Sherrill Cole II and Renee Sharpe who survives. Phillip graduated from Southern Alamance High School where he was a member of the Future Farmers of America. Phillip enjoyed his music and he played the drums and the guitar. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his mother Renee Sharpe and his stepsister, Trena Leigh Jones, both of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, Clyde Walker and Ardeth Pegg Sharpe and paternal grandparents, William Sherrill and Margaret Poe Cole. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Olin Tatum. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 Tuesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and following the service at 2205 Lacy St., Burlington.
