William Capps

Gibsonville- William "Bill" Junior Capps, 76, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Ashton Place. William was born in Martinsville, VA to the late William David and Virginia Dell Moore Capps; he was the husband of the late Mary Joyce Hubbard Capps.
William retired from the Gibsonville Fire Department and was a veteran of the U.S. Air force. He loved traveling to Cherokee North Carolina as often as he could.
Survivors include sons, Robert R. Sword and wife, Lisa, Mark Capps, David Capps and wife, Yvonne, Ray Capps and Joey Capps; daughters, Donna Smith and husband, Greg, Leslie Davenport and husband, Jeff and Misty Capps Thomas; Grandchildren, Cody Davenport and Zachary Honaker; great granddaughter, Makenna Honaker; brothers, Jack Capps and wife, Marisela and Tony Capps; sisters, Patricia Leftwich. He was preceded in death by a son; William Junior Capps Jr., wife Mary Joyce Capps, parents as well as brothers, Earl and Richard Capps.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday August 4, 2018 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 prior to the service and other times at the home.
