William Campbell

William "Bill" Scott Campbell, 84, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Hospice Home. He was born July 19, 1930 in Alamance County to the late Allen Levi and Fannie Elizabeth Walker Campbell. Bill had retired from Guilford Mills after many years of service. He was a simple man with a big heart. He loved his family and his dogs. Survivors include his son Dennis Campbell and his wife Vickie of Burlington, grandchildren, Tanya Tanner and her husband Ryan, Mike Campbell, Brian Williams, sisters; Louise Ryles and her husband Joe of Alexandria, VA, Jo Ella Craven and her husband Chester of Greensboro, Lessie Caudle of Burlington, a special niece Barbara Ward of Greensboro and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Mildred Boswell, Mary Alice Campbell and Emma Conklin. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Roger Barefoot. Interment will follow in Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30 1:45 PM at the funeral home prior to the service and other times at the home.
