William "Bill" Edward Wilson

Bill was employed with Sealtest Dairy for 27 years and retired from Tyco. He enjoyed being a charter bus driver in the later part of his life. Bill attended Staley Memorial Baptist Church for several years . He loved his dogs, “Champ” and “Roadee” and blue grass and gospel music. He along with his family spent many happy hours together in the garden during the summer.

He is survived by his daughters, Betty Kimrey of Burlington and Donna Saul and husband, Kenny of Burlington; sons, Woodrow Wilson and wife, Inge of Lawton, Oklahoma and Danny Wilson and wife, Edith of Burlington; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Ann Sykes of Mebane and Jeanette Oldham and husband, Dalton of Mebane. He was preceded by his wife, parents, Odie Edward and Elizabeth Rachel Rogers Wilson; son-in-law, Randall Kimrey; granddaughter, Amber Saul and sisters, Elaine Wilson And Dorothy Hobby.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Rodney Staley. The burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:45-10:45am prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of his daughter, Donna Saul.
