Burlington – William Calvin “Bill” Albright, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the late Ned Calvin and Grace Ellen Patterson Albright. He was the husband of 44 years to Harriet Kitsinger Albright who survives.
Bill retired from Dean’s Office Machines in Greensboro. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War serving his tour during 1966-67 with the 553rd Combat Engineers. Bill was a former member of the Burlington Moose Lodge. He enjoyed watching Nascar and Golf and fishing with his buddy. Bill enjoyed eating breakfast with the Hardee Boys and take his canine companion “Olivia” for rides in the country. He enjoyed the outdoors and took pleasure in feeding deer in his backyard. He was a simple man enjoying God’s creation.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Harriet K. Albright of the home; sister, Loraine A. Spoon; nephew, Jeff C. Spoon and his wife, Melissa P. Spoon and his canine companion, “Olivia”. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Clarence Herman Spoon.
The funeral service will be held at 2Pm on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Thurman Horney with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45pm on Thursday prior to the service.
