William Mark McFatter, 32, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Duke University Hospital. He was born February 4, 1978 in Alamance County to Mark and Mary Baker McFatter who survive. Survivors include his parents, brothers, Robert Hatch, Jr. and Billy Joe Hatch, both of Elon; his maternal grandmother, Frances Baker of Gibsonville; aunts and uncles, Alice Jernigan and husband Richard, Jimmy Baker and wife Agnes, Henry Baker and Alex Baker, Jr., all of Gibsonville and Rev. William Baker and wife Vickie of Burlington; his very close friends, Roland Carlton and Allison and Bill Pifer and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Luther and Betty Lou Hensley McFatter; his maternal grandfather, Alex George Baker; his aunt, Nan L. Sherrill and his uncle, James Luther McFatter. A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. William Baker and Pastor Amanda Harper with interment to follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
