Wilfred Echevarria

Wilfred "Bill" Echevarria, 68, of 6512 Brookstone Dr. passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Mr. Echevarria was born October 18, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York to Vincent and Mary Jorge Echevarria. Bill retired as a civil engineer from the state of New Jersey's DOT. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, and he was a retired U.S. Army Reserve. Survivors include his wife, Florence C. Echevarria of the home; three children, Jean Marie Kohler and her husband Adam of Greensboro, Michael Echevarria of Waldwick, New Jersey, and Lynn Ann Brehm and her husband Ernie of Bloomingdale, New Jersey; and four grandchildren, Aronne Kohler, Kiersten Kohler, Sebastian Kohler, and Evan Brehm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2010 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and other times at the home. A graveside service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Alamance Memorial Park. Memorials can be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or the Knights of Columbus LAMB 408 W.
