Wendy Renea Perry Barr

Wendy Renea Perry Barr, 53, passed away on March 27, 2023 at the Beacon Place surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Alamance County to the late Kenneth Ronald Perry and Gloria Porter Perry and was married to Daniel Gordon Barr, who survives. 

Wendy, affectionately known as “Ladybug”, enjoyed skydiving, finding seashells at the beach and was always the life of the party. 

She is survived by her husband; Daniel Barr, children; Kelsey Jones and fiancé Aaron Yarboro and Blake Rutledge, grandchildren; Alexis and Skylar Yarboro as well as one grandson on the way.  She is also survived by sisters; Teresa Hensley and husband, Tim and Cindy House and husband, Todd, aunt; Linda May and her husband Gary, nieces and nephews; Tara Matkins, Taylor Fogleman, Chris Hensley, Logan House, Tanner House and a special cousin Lynn Wyrick.  She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Gloria Perry as well as her first husband, Donald Jones. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ron Moore.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 prior to the service on Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
