Mr. Warren Calvin Neese, age 92, of 3727 Wade Coble Dr., passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at his home. Born in Guilford County, he was the son of the late George Alfred Neese Sr. and the late Mary Ellen May Neese and was married for over 65 years to the late Mrs. Rosa Elaine Greeson Neese, who died in 2008. Warren was a U.S Army Air Corps veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a former employee of Western Auto before retiring with RCA. He was lifelong member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, where he served as Treasurer, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher and volunteer youth advisor. He was a member of Twin Lakes Sailing Club and dedicated his long life to increasing his knowledge. He was a dedicated husband and father and cared for his wife for over 40 years while she battled with Multiple Sclerosis. Mr. Neese is survived by three daughters, Billie Grogan and her husband, Kennis, of Chapel Hill, Carmen Kriegsman and her husband, Mel, of Greensboro; and Jean Berry of Greensboro; a son, Terry Neese and his wife, Sharon, of Greer, SC; seven grandchildren, Kyla Grogan, Joy Sloop, Jimmy Sloop and wife, Mandy, Richard Neese and wife, Rachel, Mark Neese, Teresa Kriegsman and husband, Roger Friedensen and Jeff Kriegsman and wife, VIcky; five great grandchildren, Jacob Kriegsman, Hayley Coley, Daniel Kriegsman, Sarah Friedensen and Addison Ruth Sloop; a sister, Annie Mae Victor of Whitsett; two brothers, Delbert Neese and G.A. Neese, Jr., both of FL; and loving extended family, Beth, Jeff, Addison and Lindsay Harris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; parents; and two brothers, Vincent Neese and Colin Neese. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ by Rev. Lloyd Spencer and Father Mark Menees. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2211 W.
