Warren Foushee

Raney Warren Foushee, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 4, 2024 at ARMC surrounded by his family. He was born July 22, 1943 in Orange County to the late Raney W. and Mary Wright Foushee and was the husband of 52 years to the late Linda Yeatts Foushee who died in 2016.

 Warren retired after 36 years with GE. Warren was a longtime member of Carr Methodist Church where he had served as a Trustee. Warren was a US Army veteran. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a Tobacco farmer for many years in the community. Warren was an avid Nascar and UNC Tarheel fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and listening to Blue Grass music. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

 Survivors include his son, Rodrick Foushee and wife Mary Ellen of Burlington; daughter, Kimberly Foushee Yarbrough and husband Randy of Mebane; grandchildren, Grant Yarbrough, Garrett Yarbrough and wife, Emily, Chase Foushee and Morgan Foushee. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers, Curtis and James Foushee.

 A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Carr Methodist Church by Rev. Ronnie Byrd with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 PM prior to the service at the church and other times at the daughter’s home.
