Wanda Lou Pruitt

Wanda Lou West Pruitt, 63, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.  She was born on December 28, 1955 in Alamance County to the late Earley West and Dovie Lee Long West and was the wife to Wayne Franklin Pruitt of 31 years who survives.

Wanda was the owner and operator of House Cleaning by Wanda.  She enjoyed the mountains, the beach, and loved traveling with her husband.  Wanda was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Survivors other than her husband, Wayne Pruitt, include her children, Angela (Richard) Knapp, Daniel (Jamie) Bradley, Joey (Elizabeth) Bradley, Mike (Brenda) Pruitt, and Tabatha Pruitt; 12 grandchildren, Wayne Williams, Addison Birchett, Amelia Knapp, Sal Knapp, Jessica (Danny) Duke, Stephanie Bradley, Hailey Bradley, Caleb Bradley, Kevin Bradley, Brandon Pruitt, Dylan (Erin) Pruitt and Seth Mayton; 1 great grandson, Oaklen Pruitt; sisters, Marie (Mack) Felmet, Lorena Florence and Kathy (Richard) Sykes; several nieces and nephews; and her church family.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Juanita Sane.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, June 24, 2019 at Tabernacle Baptist Church by Pastor Norman Fargis with the entombment to follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence.
