Wanda Hicks

Wanda Kay Hicks, 62, passed away Tuesday August 4, 2020 at her residence after several years of failing health.  She was born October 4, 1957 in Alamance County to the late Arbert Junior Hicks and Dorothy “Dot” Aldridge Hicks who survives.

Wanda was a member of Lakeview Community Church.  She loved spending time with her family and had a special place in her heart for all types of animals.

She is survived by her son, Christopher “Chris” Dickens and fiancé Amy Cheree Dennis; mother Dorothy “Dot” Aldridge Hicks; grandchildren, Macy Anais Bishop, Megan LeeAnn Snead; sister Amy E. Hicks and partner Lamont Watlington; brother Eugene M. Hicks and a nephew Tyler Rone.

There will be a celebration of her life on 2:00 pm Friday, August 7th at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Reid Dickens.  You are welcome to attend or watch the service live on the Lowe Funeral Home website.
