Walter Watkins

Burlington - Walter Bliss "Walt" Watkins, 30, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017. He was born in Alamance County on May 28, 1987 to Jerry Bliss Watkins and Laura Edwards Watkins of the home.
Walt served in the US Army National Guard. He was a skilled fisherman, true outdoorsman and was a member of the NRA. He was also a superior marksman. Walt was an excellent father of four beautiful children; Ayden Kane, Corey James, Brooke Nichole and Gunner Cole Watkins. He was a devoted son and an honest, decent man.
A service to celebrate his life will be held 1:00pm on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bo Taylor with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:30-12:45 prior to the service on Saturday and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions toward the services can be made to Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory or online donations may be made at www.lowefuneralhome.com where you may also sign the online register book.
