Virginia Pike

Virginia Dare Pike, 87, formerly of Elon passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Hospice Home at High Point. She was born in Randolph County to the late Pearl and Ella Mae Lankford and was married to the late Max Riley Pike. She retired from Randolph County Schools after 20 years of service.
She is survived by her daughters, Tecie (Dick) Manton and Pamela Suzan Smith; grandchildren, Chad Frazier and Scott (Amy) Frazier; great grandchildren, Max Riley, Zoe Grace and Alston Lyn; extended family and friends, Linda Douglas and Janet Foushee. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Helen Thompson and brothers, Jack Langford and Walter P. Lankford.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Wayne Gardner. The graveside service will be held 12:30 PM Saturday at Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery with a reception to follow in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1803 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
