Virginia Mansfield

Virginia Darlene Gallimore Mansfield, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Galax, VA and was the daughter of the late Estel and Lizzie Gallimore. She attended West Burlington Church of God and was a home health care nurse.
She is survived by her husband of the home, Donald Jasper Mansfield; children, Joseph (Joyce) Mabe, Jr. of Burlington, Trena Kay (William) Mills of Graham, Abigail McDaniel of Burlington and Scotty (Fallon) Mabe of Burlington; 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Joseph Mabe; daughters, Melissa Mabe and Marlece Garrett; and great grandchildren, Freedom Lingerfelt, Hunter Dean Murray, Macy LeeAnn Hope Murray and Nolan Fogleman.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at West Burlington Church of God by Rev. Olin Tatum and Rev. Barry Howell with interment to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
