Virginia Ann Forster

Virginia (Ginny) A. Forster passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Gerald (Jerry) Forster, a retired NYS Police Investigator. Ginny is survived by her son Wayde (Karen) Forster, her daughter, Lisa Kathleen (Ron Jowsey) Forster; her brother Fred Andrle (Marlene Hyman), nieces, nephews, and many special friends.

Ginny spent her life loving and caring for her family and friends, and served her community delivering meals to those in need. She was an active member of her local Humane Society, fostering (keeping) dogs, as well as investigating animal cruelty cases. Ginny was also an active member of her church, applying her musical talents by bringing contemporary music to the church congregation. Ginny’s lifelong love of animals led to her career in wildlife rehabilitation.

Ginny’s wishes are that you love and care for your family and friends, show kindness to those with fur and feathers, bring fun into part of every day, stand strong for what is right, and pay it forward. All of the things that Ginny exemplified throughout her remarkable life.
