Virginia Doll

Mebane, NC Virginia "Ginny" Medlin Doll, age 84, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2008 at Alamance Health Care. She was a native of Durham County and the wife of over 30 years to Vincent Lloyd Doll who survives. Virginia was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Graham. Survivors include her husband; son, Jim Johnson of Martinsville, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law,, Cameron and Earl Foster of Graham, Charlotte Johnson of Merritt Island, Florida and Evelyn and Ed Baugham of Kernersville; stepson, Ronald L. Doll of Austin, Texas and stepdaughter, Gay Doll Johnston of Los Angeles, California; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Maggie Hinson Medlin; sisters, Catherine Maynor and Myrtle Medlin; brothers, LeRoy, Lonnie and Eddie Medlin. The family would like to express their appreciation to Faye and Kenneth Southard for all their care over the past few years for "Ginny". A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. by Sherrie Moore-Mott at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory prior to the service and other times at the daughter's home, 612 Rockwood Drive, Graham, NC 27253 Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Graham, 224 N.
