Virginia Baynard

Virginia "Granny BB" Kincaid Baynard, 82, 0f The Oaks of Alamance passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 after several years of failing health. She was born April 3, 1929 in Rowan County, NC to the late James Reid and Bonnie Simmons Eller. Virginia had retired from Sears after twenty-five years of service and was a member of Archdale Methodist Church. She volunteered at High Point Regional Hospital for many years. She enjoyed working with her hands quilting, in her garden and yard and was a great cook. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her daughters, Bonnie "Kitty" Kincaid of Atlanta, GA, Tommie Jo Mike Garner of Elon, Tina Sam Pickard of Gibsonville, grandchildren, Thomas, Jennifer, Matthew, Megan and Joshua. She was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Max Kincaid, parents and a brother Buddy Eller. There will be a service to celebrate her life 1:00 Tuesday April 3, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Elon by Rev. Mark Mofield. The family will receive friends following the service.
