Vicky Clark

Brown Summit-Vicky Watkins Clark, age 63 went home to be with the lord on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Guilford County and the wife of 42 years to Calvin Wayne Clark who survives. Vicky was employed over the years with Penn National, Cone Mills and New Home Building Supply before retiring. She was a member of Apple s Chapel Christian and a member of the CIA Sunday School Class. She served as Awana leader and sang with the church choir and Praise Team. Vicky enjoyed traveling with her family especially to the coast and spending time outdoors. She was a loving and devoted Christian wife, mother, grandmother and daughter. She is survived by her husband, Calvin W. Clark of the home; daughters, Amy Johnson and husband, Chris of Waxhaw, NC and Heather McGhee and husband, Derek of Elon; grandchildren, Brayden, Sawyer and Ethyn McGhee and her mother, Clara Belle Hinshaw Watkins of Greensboro; sister, Miriam Jackowitz. She was preceded in death by her father, Dallas Judson Watkins and sisters, Karen Nelson and Lynn Watkins. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Apple's Chapel Christian Church by Rev. Dave Johnson and Rev. Eric Dudley and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
