Vickie Hinshaw

Gibsonville - Vickie Sue Isley Hinshaw, 67, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 suddenly at her home. She was born on December 28, 1949 in Guilford County to the late Garland Edrow Isley, Sr. and Mary Catherine Williams Isley and was the wife to James Albert Hinshaw of 48 years who survives.

Vickie retired from Sears & Roebuck after 21 years of service. She was a member of Brightwood Christian Church and was an active member with the Brightwood Senior Citizens. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed.

Survivors other than her husband, James Hinshaw include her sons, Rodney Hinshaw and Ronnie Hinshaw; 3 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters; sisters, Catherine Andrews and husband, Junior, and Linda Hedrick and husband, Larry. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Garland E. Isley, Jr.

The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Brightwood Christian Church by Rev. Ricky Cox with the burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 1:45pm at the church on Tuesday prior to the service and other times at the home.
