Vickie Allen

Burlington - Vickie Gail Hill Allen, 59, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital, surrounded by loving family. She was born on September 1, 1958 in Greensboro, NC to the late Roy Elzie Hill, Sr. and Peggy Lou Johnson Hill and was married to the late Lynn Charles Allen, who passed in 2008.

Among other things, Vickie enjoyed singing karaoke, cooking and traveling to the Outer Banks with husband Doug Neely and spoiled pets, Ruby and Smokey.

Vickie is survived by her daughter, Toshia Perdue; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Katie Allen, Kevin and Tracey Allen; grandchildren, Kristal Perdue, Kimberly Perdue, Kenneth Perdue, Konner Perdue, Avery Allen, Hannah Allen and Jacob Allen; great granddaughter, Ava Wilson; sisters, Karen Hill and Patti Pardue; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Nancy Hill, Jr., Marty and Liz Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Charles Allen; parents, Roy Hill, Sr. and Peggy Hill and son-in-law, Gary Perdue.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 4, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Jess Lambert with the entombment to follow in Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm Monday prior to the service and other times at her brother Marty's home.
