Ursel Huff

Ursel Merritt Huff, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.  He was born in Person County to the late George Polk Huff and Lucy Thelma Day Huff and was married for 61 years to Wilma Pittman Huff who survives.  He was a member of Holly Hill Baptist Church where he had previously served as a deacon.  Ursel was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife Wilma of the home, daughters, Donna Boggs (Gary), and Carla Huff; son, Bryan Huff; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Taylor and a brother, Bradsher Huff (Shirley).  He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Graylin and a sister, Shirley Averette.

A private service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 4, 2020 by Dr. Gene Hunsinger.  Memorials may be made to Holly Hill Baptist Church, 2818 Edgewood Ave, Burlington, NC 27215.
