Trena Leigh Jones, 41, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. She was born on July 19, 1983 in Davidson County and was the daughter of Reneé Sharpe.

She enjoyed doing canvas needlework, diamond art paintings, watching comedy movies and swimming. Trena was an excellent swimmer who enjoyed the beach and all kinds of water activities. She loved shopping and eating out with her mother and spending time with her family.

Trena is survived by her mother, Reneé Sharpe; a son, James Dylan Whitford; her granddaughters, Layla and Aubrey Whitford; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her canine fur baby, Rusty. She was preceded in death by her father, Mark D. Jones; a brother, William “Phillip” Cole; her grandparents, Ardeth Sharpe and Clyde Walker Sharpe, Joel Jones and Loretta Jones; and uncle, Steven Jay Sharpe.

A service to celebrate Trena’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Don Pegg. The family will receive friends following the service.
