Tracie Peeples

Whitsett – Tracie Ranae Peeples, 44, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Beacon Place in Greensboro surrounded by her beloved family.  Tracie was born in Guilford County on July 7, 1977 to Cindy Bush and Billy Peeples.

Tracie was a loving, compassionate person with an amazing smile.  She was fiercely loyal to her friends and family and never forgot a face, name, or important date.  She was a dedicated mother who treasured her daughter, Chelsea, and embraced every moment with her.  An avid Tarheel fan, Tracie loved sports, especially softball and watching NASCAR.  Tracie was of the Baptist faith.

Tracie was employed by UVA Sun Systems for over 26 years.  She was a dedicated employee and would go above and beyond to help anyone.  She was passionate about volunteering at schools and had a big heart for the teachers and students she served.  She organized fundraisers, served on the PTA and supported teachers, staff and students at Sedalia Elementary School and Eastern Guilford Middle and High Schools.

Tracie is survived by her daughter, Chelsea; mother, Cindy Bush (Tim); father, Billy Peeples; sister, Tara Barton (Tony); brother, Keifer Peeples; special nieces, Kelsey Cook and Brynlee Peeples; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family and her beloved cat, Mason.

A service to celebrate Tracie’s life will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel in Burlington by Rev Tommy Scronce.  The family will receive friends following the service.
