Timothy Self

Timothy Marvin Tim Self, 52, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 after a sudden illness. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Marvin P. Self and Hazel Thompson Self, who both survive. He was a graduate of Eastern High School and later graduated from Electronic Computer Programming Institute of Tidewater, VA with a degree in Electronics and was a former employee with Electrical South in Greensboro. Tim is survived by his parents of Burlington, a large extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Mae Self and David James and Mariah Thompson. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Bob Stephenson. The family will receive friends following the service.
