Timothy Rivers

Timothy Scott "Tim" Rivers, 43, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Rivers was born March 29, 1965 in Alamance County to Charlie "Bo" Rivers and Veronica "Bonnie" Rivers who survive. Tim was a plumber and was employed by Pete Wall Plumbing for over 20 years. Tim recently was saved and had lived a good spiritual life since. He was a special help to all of his family, friends and anyone in need. All of his family will be saddened by their loss but so blessed for him. Please keep the family in your prayers. Survivors include his wife, Wendy May Rivers of the home; two daughters, Natalie Rivers and Brittany Rivers both of the home; parents, Bo and Bonnie Rivers of Burlington; brother, Michael Rivers and his wife Connie of Burlington; sisters, Windy Sykes and her husband Larry of Burlington and Rhonda Cobb and her husband, Wesley of Burlington; grandparents, Jennie Rayle and her husband, Lewis of Burlington; special aunts, uncles, and so many special cousins. The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008 at World of Pentecost Church in Graham by Pastor Kenny Godair. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
