Tommy Pattillo, age 85, passed away peacefully February 19, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was married to Carolyn McKinney Pattillo for 67 years. He was born in Caswell County to Coy and Adeline Harrelson Pattillo.
He was a lifelong tobacco farmer in the Anderson Community. He was a lifelong member of Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church where he served as trustee, member of the cemetery committee and honorary life deacon. He belonged to the Southern Caswell Ruritan Club for 46 years. He also served as a board member for Anderson Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr. Pattillo is survived by a daughter, Tommie Stanfield (Steve) and a son Ronnie (Amy) Pattillo. He was called Paw-Paw by his grandchildren: Neal Stanfield (Laura), Lynn Moretz (Ryan), Morgan Pearson (Chris) and his six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Dean Stanfield.
Visitation will be held at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Friday, February 21, 2020 from 4:00-6:00pm. The family will be at the home at other times.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00pm at Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Paul Traywick. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
