Thomas "Boz" Boswell

Thomas Harold “Boz” Boswell, 91, passed away Saturday August 17, 2019 at the Hospice Home.  He was born February 4, 1928 in Alamance County to the late Charlie Lee and Merle Hargrove Boswell and was married to Shirley Guthrie Isley Boswell the love of his life.  Harold retired from Western Electric after thirty-nine years of service and was a member of First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and a former member of Piedmont Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed music, playing golf and spending time at the beach.  Boz loved being with his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Patty Hanna, daughter, Rhonda Isley (Robert) McIntosh; son, Keith (Jeanne) Isley; grandchildren, Richard (Cindy) Bethea, Melissa Bethea, John Bethea, Cameron McIntosh; great grandchildren, Madison Paul, Thomas Bethea, Alexandra Bethea; brother, Dan (Penny) Boswell; numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Thomas “Toby” Boswell; brothers, Don Boswell, Joel “Butch” Boswell, Pete Boswell and sisters, Jean McDaniel and Virginia Stewart.

The service to celebrate his life will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bryan Crotts.

The family will receive friends with a reception following the service and at other times at the home.
