Thomas Williams

Thomas Shelton Williams 79, passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center during the early morning hours of Sunday, December 26, 2021 due to complications related to COVID.

A native of Alamance County he was the husband of 60 years to Sandra Northey Williams (deceased) and the son of the late Alton Dow Williams & Jewel Williams Scott.

Thomas was employed as a mechanic for most of his life until retiring to Caswell County to enjoy hunting, fishing & horseback riding with his closest friends and relatives.  Survivors include his son Thomas Alton “Knobby” Williams and wife Valerie of Mebane, three grandchildren Stormy, Faith and Peyton Williams, brother Gene Williams (Margaret Ann), sisters, Hazel Bowes, Betty Brooks and Margie Poole along with a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will gather for a private celebration of Thomas’ life at a later date.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation for the care and support of the Leasburg community during Thomas’ time of declining health.
