Thomas Farrell

Burlington - Thomas Robert "Tim" Farrell, 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his family after fighting a six year battle with cancer. He was born in Chicago to the late Thomas E. and Mary Ann Vonachen Farrell and was married for 37 years to Sharron Farrell who survives. Tim was owner and operator of The Mailing Factor. He was a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church where he served as an Elder and Sunday School Teacher. He loved music and was an avid Chicago sports fan. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sharron Farrell, children, Lauren (Shaun) Tirgrath; Matt (Jenny) Farrell; Alex May; grandchildren, Emerson and Brody Tirgrath; and brother, David (Fran) Farrell. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Annie Farrell.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Neff with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
