Thomas Carter

Burlington, NC Thomas Ted Franklin Carter, age 69, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at his home. He was the husband of Ann King Carter who survives and a native of Danville, Virginia. Ted was employed for 28 years with Cone Mills, Minneola Plant in Gibsonville and later he retired from Texfi after 10 years. Survivors include his wife of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Arnold Baldwin of Greensboro; step granddaughter, Ashley Baldwin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Judy Cater and Ronald and Pam Carter all of Whitsett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus Franklin Carter and Zelma Thomas Carter; brother, Richard Bubbles Carter. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. George M. Jack Phillips, Jr. The family will receive friends from 1:45 until 2:45 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory prior to the service.
