Thelma Stamper

Thelma Patrick Stamper, 79, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. Mrs. Stamper was born March 31, 1930 in Portmouth, Ohio to the late Brady and Eva Mae Patrick. Survivors include her beloved husband of 58 years, Bill Stamper of the home; two daughters, Sandy Apple and her husband, Eric of Ashville, NC and Dawn Griswold and her husband, Robin of Burlington; four grandchildren, Will Apple, Candice Apple, Chris Apple, and Mike Griswold; great grandchildren, Coey Phoenix, Keenan Phoenix, and Harper Griswold. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service and at the home of Robin and Dawn Griswold, 1103 W. Davis St. Burlington.
