Terry Phillips

Burlington - Terry Dean Phillips, 63, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Dean was born in Alamance County to the late Fulton Person Phillips and Clara Barringer Phillips, and was the husband to Debra Kay Clark Phillips who survives.

Dean was employed with North Carolina Department of Transportation. He was a US Navy veteran during Peacetime.

Survivors other than his wife, Debra include his daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie and Tommy Younger, Sharon and Rick Lambeth; son, Brian Bunting and special companion, Malynda; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bryant and Teresa Phillips. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Phillips.

The funeral service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Norman Fargis and Rev. Norman Harris with burial to follow at Kerr's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
