Terry Boswell

Elon-Terry Joe Boswell, 38, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. A native of Caswell County, he was born February 27, 1980 to Jeffery Johnson Boswell and Sharon Terry Terrell and was the husband of 13 years to Megan Elizabeth Boswell of the home.

Terry was a lifetime member of Kerrs Chapel Baptist Church where he served faithfully and enjoyed attending Sunday School. His love for life was displayed through his dedication to the Lord, his wife and his children. Terry enjoyed restoring classic cars and was a brilliant fabricator, of which he was self-employed for many years. He was a loving husband, father and son and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, parents; daughters, Lily and Ivy Boswell; sister, Shannon Pointer and husband John; paternal grandmother, Bettie Boswell; niece, Bliss Pointer; nephews, Josh and Colton Stanton; sister-in-law, Julie Stanton and husband Jim and parents-in-law, Gary and Debra Stainback. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Clarence "Red" Boswell, Jr. and maternal grandparents, Coy and Nellie Terry.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Kerrs Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Paul Traywick with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lily and Ivy Boswell College Fund at State Employees' Credit Union, 1176 St Marks Church Rd, Burlington, NC 27215.
