Gibsonville Terry Alton Booe, 60, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 29, 1954 in Forsyth County to Charles Alton Booe and Carolyn Sue Bailey Griffith and was the husband to Dawn Marie Hamelinck Booe for five years. Terry was a former employee with Tri-City Auto Salvage, a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Christian Bible Fellowship. Terry enjoyed golfing, working out at the gym and running in the Senior Olympics. Terry is survived by his wife, Dawn; father, Charles and mother, Carolyn Griffith and step father, Ralph Griffith; sons, Scott Ray Booe, Nickalus Steven Booe and his wife, Jennifer, and Chase Lohr Booe; grandchildren, Samantha Jackson, Keanan Booe, Peyton Booe and Addisyn Booe; brothers, Mike Booe and his wife, Beverly and Rodney Booe; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Vick Tuttle, Rachel and Tim Lawson; maternal grandmother, Hazel Beatrice Bailey; father-in-law, Charles Hamelinck; sister-in-law, Christine Hamelinck; aunts and uncles, Doug and Margie Bailey, Lynn and Bobby Cope. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Walter Dalton Bailey and his mother-in-law, Phyllis Hamelinck. The celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Christian Bible Fellowship by Pastor Bruce Readling. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home. The family would like to thank our church family, friends and send a special "Thank You" to Joe Sr., Michael and Joey Guarglia for the support that they showed to Terry and the family during his illness.
