Terresa Noah Scarpa, 55, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. She was born in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Ricky Lee Noah and Donna Hudgins Randolph, who survives.
Terresa was an accountant by trade but in recent years she has worked in the home providing a warm and loving place for David and their dogs. She was an avid UNC Tarheel basketball fan and loved reading and playing Lego with her grandsons. Terresa was very athletic playing softball and basketball while at Eastern Guilford High School, later playing in adult softball leagues and coaching her daughter’s basketball team. She had a love for animals especially her great Danes, “Zeus” and “Cana” and enjoyed riding motorcycles, hiking and watching the leaves in the fall with her husband.
Terresa is survived by her husband of 17 years, David Scarpa of the home; daughter, Gayla Babiak and husband, Michael of Burlington; grandchildren, Daniel Colt Babiak and Henry Carlyle Babiak; sisters, Dee Noah of Burlington, Sally Rivera and husband Bob of Pensacola, Florida and Dorothy Gillis and husband, Ray of Albany, New York; brothers, Rusty Randolph and wife, Tina of Gibsonville and Rick Noah and wife, Charlie of Rome, Georgia; maternal grandmother, Burma Hudgins of Saltillo, Tennessee; aunt, Marty Ursery of Gibsonville and a uncle, Joey Hudgins and wife, Donna of Sardis, Tennessee; cousins, Carla Perez, Desiree Hudgins and Joseph Hudgins. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas “Tommy” Monroe Randolph and her grandfather, Marvin Hudgins.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021 prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home. A service to celebrate her life will directly follow at 2:00pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro.
