Teri Veiga

Teri Elizabeth Hughes Veiga, 40, of Burlington died on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital after several months of failing health. She was a native of Alamance County and a member of Gibsonville United Methodist Church. Teri was a former assistant manager of Barnes and Noble book store in High Point. She is survived by her son, Steven Craig Veiga of Burlington, mother, Mary Huffines Wagoner and her husband Don of Whitsett; father, Sam Hughes and his wife Donna of Greenville; sister, Lisa Phillips and her husband Keith of Suwanee, GA and a half-sister, Christina Nesbit of Whitsett. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Gibsonville United Methodist Church by Rev. David and Lara Greene.
