Teresa Hylton

Teresa Gale Hylton, 57, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 31, 2020.  She was born in Onslow County to Phillip Gene Roberts, Sr. and Betty Whealton Roberts and was married for 17 years to Timothy W. Hylton.  She graduated from Williams High School and attended Elon University.  Teresa was a dental assistant at UNC Chapel Hill and was a member of Powerline Church of the Nazarene.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed reading, fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy, children; Brandon Hylton (Jesse), Stephen Summerell (Anna), Stephen Hylton (Abby), Brantley Rimmer (Abby), Jessica Martin (Derrick) and Caroline Walters (Josh); grandchildren, Cheyenne, Lauren, Calliebelle, Noah, Isla, Bryce, Gavin, Elijah and Xander; brother, Lt. Col. Phillip Gene Roberts, Jr. (Jaime) and her fur baby, Dusty.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 PM Friday, September 4, 2020 at Powerline Church of the Nazarene by Pastor Jerry Gardner.
