Teresa Cox

McLeansville, NC Ms. Teresa Terri Stewart Cox, 44, of 4137 Keely Rd. passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Duke Medical Center. Ms. Cox was born July 17, 1962 in Alamance County to Douglas Stewart and Barbara Angel Stewart, who survive. Ms. Cox was a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a B. S. in nursing. She was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau of International Nursing Honor Society and an active member of North Star United Methodist Church. Survivors other than her parents include a brother, Tony Stewart and his wife Dana of Burlington; one sister, Sandy Stewart of Outer Banks, NC; a nephew, Brice Harris of Greensboro, NC; and step-mother, Debby Stewart of Greensboro. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. and at other times the family will be at her mothers home at 306 Clapp St. Graham, NC 27253.
