Teresa Carmichael

Teresa Susan Wheeler Carmichael of Gibsonville, NC, passed on to everlasting heavenly peace on Sunday, August 12, 2012. She was born June 1, 1966 in Jessup, MD to the late Donald Lee Wheeler, Sr. and Hester Susan Wheeler. Teresa found her joy in life being a devoted mother, companion, daughter, sister and friend. Her life centered a round those that she loved and cared for. Her most precious gift was her children, Douglas, Brandon, AJ and Jacob. She was also devoted to her loving companion of 9 years, Allen Lewis; devoted daughter to her parent's Don and Hester, a wonderful "baby" sister to the late Donald Lee, Jr. and his wife Lynita, sister Marsha and her husband Bill. She was "Auntie" to Christopher, Ashley, Victoria, Julie, and E.C. Teresa found so much happiness in simply being kind to so many friends, neighbors and anyone that just needed to hear a kind word. And as our family tradition for so many years, our parents taught us to end each night with "Goodnight, Sweet Dreams, God Bless, I love you". Through our tears to our sweet Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend we say "Goodnight, Sweet Dreams, God Bless, I love you" until we meet again, sleep well in God's arms at night and sing with the angels during the day. The service to celebrate her life will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18th at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate any remembrances to be made to the A/O Volunteer Fire Department, 2806 Old 87, Elon, NC 27244.
