Sylvia Trost

Sylvia Lee Stidham Trost, 68, of 2016 S. Mebane St. passed from this life at 6:30 PM on October 16, 2007 after an 18 month illness and 2 months critical. She was with her husband and family when she passed away. She was the wife of Robert E. Trost for 39 years and the daughter of the late William Martin and Sarah Frances Stewart Stidham. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband of the home, a daughter Debbie Pinson of Burlington, sons; Chuck Scoggins and his wife Michelle of Dacula, GA, Bob Trost and his wife Kathy of Monroe, GA, grandchildren; Brittany Pinson, Leland Scoggins, Hogan Scoggins, Christopher Trost, sisters; Catherine Crawford, Geraldine Kelly and her husband George, Barbara Greene, Virginia DeBard, Betty Starr all of the metro Atlanta area, and a brother William Stidham of Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by a son Lee Stewart Scoggins, her parents and sisters; Christine Defrice and Irene Thomas. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday October 18, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home. There will be a celebration of her life later in Atlanta. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
