Suzanne Griggs

Suzanne Griggs, 75, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2018. She was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on August 9, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Clinton Bone, Sr. and Helen Salson Bone. Suzanne was a former budget analyst with the IRS and a talented artist who delighted others with her watercolors. She was known for her lighthouses and for painting flowers she had grown in her garden. She was also an active member of Gibsonville United Methodist Church.

Suzanne is survived by her husband, Euell "Buzz" Griggs; sons, Robbie (Cindy), Jamie (Tamara), Aaron (Chandra); grandchildren, Jessica, Colton, Sara, Jonah, and Andrew; sister, Barbara Gretencord (Wayne), and loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Christopher and brother, Lawrence Bone.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, July 22 at Gibsonville United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 3:00-3:45 PM prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215 or the Gibsonville United Methodist Church.
